Dr Corey Billington

Corey is a founding partner of e3 associates and a pioneer in the field of Supply Chain Management. He has 20 years of experience in formulating and delivering strategic innovation programs across the globe and in most major industries. As the director of Hewlett-Packard’s SpaM Group, and later VP of procurement, he not only defined how supply chain management is practiced in the high-tech industry, he also published a number of seminal papers. From 2005-2010 he was Professor of Operations Management and Procurement at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, where, as director of the flagship action learning program, he began applying open innovation and collective intelligence to business processes. Prior to that, Corey was a consulting professor in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at Stanford University. In March 2007, the Production and Operations Management Society awarded him the Martin K. Starr Excellence in POM Practice Award. He is also President of the Procurement Sciences Institute.

Corey has worked at IBM, Raychem Corporation, and Kinetics Technologies International. His articles have appeared in Sloan Management Review, Operations Research, Interfaces, Omega, OR/MS Today and CiME.Corey holds a B.S. in engineering management from Claremont McKenna College and B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Dr Rhoda Davidson

Rhoda is the Founding Partner of e3 European Office. She has 10 years of experience at IMD in Switzerland teaching and designing customized strategic interventions with a wide variety of multinational companies. Her focus has been on helping senior managers to take charge of their own business issues and on building these managers’ capabilities to implement workable solutions. During this time Rhoda has built a robust approach to resolving strategic issues. Her business experience has covered all aspects of strategic initiatives including governance, sponsorship, teamwork and team building, piloting, change management, and communication. She is currently teaching leadership in the MBA program at ETH Zurich.

Before moving to Switzerland Rhoda worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co and has also lectured at Oxford University, UK and Temple University, Japan. Rhoda has a Ph.D. from Oxford University, an MA is from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Bob Horenstein

Bob is a founding partner of e3 associates. Bob has over 30 years experience in a variety of strategic and operational roles with a focus on professional services. As a Silicon Valley veteran, he has worked with startups, mid-size and large companies in locations around the world. He has broad management experiences ranging from Information Technology, and Software, to R&D, Quality Engineering, and Consulting. He has pioneered the development of leading-edge customer design, customer loyalty, and customer experience strategy methods. He also designs and leads large group strategy acceleration events. Bob holds a B.S. in business from San Jose State and M.A. in information systems from University of Northern Colorado.

 

Don Schmickrath

Don is a founding partner of e3 associates. Don is the former VP of Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain for HP. In that role, Don led the centralized supply chain, procurement, logistics, engineering, supply chain strategic planning, supply chain information technology and consulting groups. Don has extensive experience in logistics, marketing and finance. Prior to joining HP, Don was a financial consultant and CPA. Don holds a B.S. in business from Fresno State University.


Bublu Thakur-Weigold

Bublu has been with e3 associates since 2008 and is a specialist in technology transfer. She is the academic advisor to the ETHZ MBA SCM program and active in research projects at ETH’s Kuehne Chair of Logistics Management in Zurich. She has worked in the tech industry as an internal supply chain consultant, instructor, and program manager, working with global teams to implement e-auctions, procurement risk management, ITSM, and optimized IT outsourcing. Additionally, she has 15 years of experience in IT consulting, with multinational clients from heavy manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, and the telecommunications industries.

Bublu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an Executive Master’sin International Logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
